| There was no significant
difference in the weight of the mice before and after the experimental
period in all the groups except Group III in which the difference in weight
was found to be 0.9g. The experimental mice were divided into seven groups and the hepatoprotective effect of Ashshifa-1000 on CCL4 induced hepatotoxicity was assessed. Liver enzymes AST, ALT, ALP and LDH were estimated. Besides these, liver glycogen, blood glucose and serum bilirubin levels were assessed. The results obtained are presented in Tables VIII and IX |
